 Christopher Nishimura provides media relations and community outreach services for numerous clients. Since joining Solem & Associates in August 2006, he has organized both large-scale and localized media and community events on behalf of the Alameda County Congestion Management Agency, Redwood Landfill and Recycling Center and non-profits such as the Exploratorium museum, the Institute on Aging and the ALS Association.
In addition, Mr. Nishimura provides media relations services and community relations materials for clients such as Degenkolb Engineers and the Dry Creek Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians.
Mr. Nishimura earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications with a minor in English from the University of California at Berkeley. As an undergraduate, he spent several semesters conducting research at the Haas School of Business Department of Organizational Behavior and Industrial Relations examining the effects of counterfactual mind-sets, gender and emotions on corporate negotiations.
