Joining Solem & Associates in August 2006, Christopher Nishimura provides public relations services for clients including media releases and pitches and targeted media lists. He also organizes both large-scale and localized media and community events on behalf of Solem clients. His other media relations and community outreach duties include: performing topical research, conducting media audits and managing graphic work and production of communications materials for clients such as Degenkolb Engineers, Redwood Landfill and Dry Creek Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians.
Christopher earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications with a minor in English from the University of California at Berkeley. As an undergraduate, he spent several semesters conducting research at the Haas School of Business Department of Organizational Behavior and Industrial Relations examining the effects of counterfactual mind-sets, gender and emotions on corporate negotiations.
