SA|Opinion
Research conducts surveys, focus groups and executive interviews
centering on public policy issues and other matters of interest
to business, government, and nonprofit clients.
We maintain
a close relationship with our parent company, Solem & Associates,
and often work together to provide our clients with the tools and
information needed to make informed public policy decisions. Find
out more about the experience the SA|Opinion Research Team
brings to each research project.
Services
SA|Opinion Research employs both quantitative and qualitative techniques
in opinion research. We work with our clients to design studies
that meet their needs.
- Surveys.
Public opinion surveys are at the core of effective understanding
of community concerns because they provide statistically measurable
results. For more than two decades, SA|Opinion Research has conducted
public opinion surveys on a wide variety of topics. Our research
team is skilled at designing questionnaires that elicit useful
information, managing the interviewing process to ensure both
quality and efficiency, analyzing the data, interpreting the implications
of the results, and presenting findings to clients. Read more
about our experience
in conducting surveys and read an example of a survey report we recently prepared for a client.
- Focus
Groups. Focus groups provide a setting in which to explore
public opinion on any given subject by allowing the natural development
of thoughts and ideas in a group setting to generate a springboard
for in-depth study. SA|Opinion Research has utilized focus groups
to determine attitudes toward water quality, growth and development,
industrial expansion, health care, the role of government, environmental
concerns, public facilities, product marketing strategies, major
political candidates and ballot measures. Read more about our
experience
in conducting focus groups.
- Executive
Interviews. Executive interviews provide an opportunity to
access and evaluate the viewpoints of key decision makers on an
individual basis. Executive interviews provide additional insight
into current concerns as well as an opportunity to explore the
minds of individuals directly involved in the decision-making
process. Often, the formal nature of executive interviews prompt
respondents to develop and relate insights and analyses of problems
that are not achieved in less structured conversations. Read more

in conducting executive interviews.
Clients
Years of experience in the use of both qualitative and quantitative
research techniques allows us to offer our
clients an extensive selection of services.
SA|Opinion Research has assisted a variety of clients who retain
our research services year after year, enabling them to track changes
in public opinion over time. For examples of our research findings,
read about the political attitudes
of Asian Americans and opinions
about a regional healthcare provider.
